We designed and developed this sleek, fully-responsive site for a high-end, award-winning restaurant in Brisbane’s CBD. It features a single page vertical scrolling layout and integrates a high def HTML5 video loop ( shot by us ) and fixed background techniques to give a dynamic user experience. The unique anchored side menu automatically updates as you scroll while several other clever little elements mixed with illustrious design and flawless coding make this a web environment to behold.
Our new website is seriously sexy…
We recently launched a fully redesigned version of this very successful e-commerce site. With a mobile browsing overtaking desktop this year the site had to be retina ready and responsive, and we took a lot of care developing a unique gallery system that works great on small touch devices and large desktop screens.
We really appreciate all the work you have done over the past 3 years and you’ve seen us go from nothing to quite a large team now. You do great work and have recommended you to so many friends for their sites over the years.
Utilising the integrated micro blog and frequent social networking updates has helped this business THRIVE. So far visits and subsequent sales have been booming after the upgrade with the site featured on various fashion blogs.
We gave Wiltshire Family Lawyers a complete overhaul with a fresh new look, a more contemporary feel, better functionality and smoother navigation. We used imagery of their impressive working environment, knowing it will speak volumes about Wiltshire’s high standards and open-door policy. We seamlessly embedded a video using creative photos ( all shot in-house ) throughout the design to reinforce Wiltshire’s professional stance, highlighting their firm as the most qualified, trustworthy and highly efficient practice around.
Sister company to Grace Loves Lace, FTLOG focuses on beautiful bridesmaid dresses that can be worn beyond the wedding and to any special occasion. We developed a clean responsive web design and various print work to accompany the new brand. We continue to work closely with FTLOG as they increase their range and the business grows.
Jim is a Gold Coast based interior architect and designer, he wanted a super-clean online portfolio that he could easily update himself. The responsive site that we built for him works on all screen sizes including mobile – simply enlarge and shrink the pages to see how the responsive system adapts to the width of the browser.
Switch is a small organic wine producer. They were after something a little different to stand out from the crowd (just like their wine). They didn’t need a lot of excessive content on the site, so we went for a more original horizontal layout and threw some css3 animation in the mix.
This is Australia’s premier destination bridal boutique, which also happens to be just two doors down from our office. We created a simple, responsive, single-page site featuring some smooth scrolling effects (pure css), image sliders and an animated fixed header.
Eeeek, it’s looking so great!
Developers and builders of mid-to-high-end homes, Innova was looking to project an image as a leading authority in architecture. Wanting to be seen as a prestigious firm, but without frightening off potential customers.
We went for a crisp, professional-looking site that maintains an aesthetic tone throughout. We wanted to impress users – who are all potential clients – with its slick interfaces and savvy navigation.
We thought the project section should speak for itself and shouldn’t require too many extra frills to distract from the main objective. We built it specifically with expansion in mind so it’s easy for the Innova team to add work in the future.
We created a clean, uncomplicated web environment that resonates the same funky charm as Anuks’s products. Shooting all the product photography in-house enabled us to keep a consistent look throughout the site that matched our design goals. As an e-commerce venture, the site needed to immediately get the necessary information across and be easy for users to navigate through. Catering for image-conscious, tech-savvy ladies with a slight boho-chic style, we wanted the site to be slick and modern in appearance and functionality, but still be edgy enough to attract the fashionable crowd.
Valenzo Jeweller produces some of the most exquisite pieces of jewellery in the country. They were after a smooth, responsive site in gallery format. We took particular care in the transitions as you navigate through the site – images flow calmly along while you browse the high-end product.
We created a flexible shopping cart site for Joy Beans, a local Gold Coast company with great aspirations to create better working and environmental conditions in the coffee growing regions across the world.
We are loving this site – looks so good! Can’t wait to show it off to the real world ha ha!

A dynamic site with loads of responsive goodness! We integrated responsive video, full width banners, carousels, navigation and Retina Ready SVG images. The site can be easily updated with new events, each with a dynamic countdown timer.
Portfolio site for Gold Coast based web designer and developer Dean Oakley. This unique site has been linked on many web design sites, been featured in .net magazine and had over 750,000 visits!
A talented filmer and video editor, Josh wanted a dynamic online portfolio with a point of difference. We went with a responsive, single-page, vertical-scroll option that also incorporates an engaging background image effect. This is the postmodern resume of the future.
Ever heard of Echo Panel? It’s a highly sustainable and soundproof material that Cre8 Sound + Design specialise in. They provide everything from unique furniture to the installation of wall panelling systems specifically designed for acoustics. With this site project, we designed the mod homepage to reflect their ergonomic position in the market, while in the backend we customised their shopping cart which required some special options. Have a little hover over their recent work to see brief specs … spesh.
Look Love Want is an online gallery of contemporary, original, limited edition prints. It’s a place where covetable art can be collected at a click. The shopping-cart site is powered by WordPress, providing a seamless and easy to use CMS.
We worked with the team at Design Culture to come up with an intuitive layout that will also be flexible enough to handle the ever growing collection.
I really appreciate all your work with this, it’s looking better than I could wish for.
Nextco provides Point of Sale programs and inventory systems to hotels, clubs, restaurants and resorts. The information rich site needed to outline many features, and so was broken down into various categories, components and window layouts. This shows an example of a ‘semi-responsive’ site as it resizes for large monitors and small tablets, but doesn’t go as far as to reconfigure for handheld smart phones.
An overview of his personal work in fashion, digital and fine arts. The site features a highly customised touch friendly carousel.
You’ve done a fantastic job. I am amazed at how accurately you have executed the site. Thanks so much for a fantastic job & very fluid working process.
Now this was a fun, alternative project that resulted in something special: a horizontal, scroll-along, single-page site that features a drag and drop shopping cart which also works on mobile devices. The client was super happy with the result!
But tell you what – the site looks and feels absolutely fantastic…
Super creative and hyper active, Daniel, a Photographer based in the US, needed a flexible online presence… and he needed it fast! We set the site up so Daniel can easily add new events and blog posts to the homepage. The gallery system allows for easy uploading, sorting and automatic resizing. Take a ganda!
I dont know about you but this has been wicked fun for me :)
Daniel Aaron Sprague
This was a previous portfolio site for us. The site was fun to make and was linked on various design sites. We have left it up as a showpiece!
