Thrive designs websites for bridal designers, boutiques, wedding venues and wedding businesses across Australia. Websites for bridal designers, boutiques and wedding businesses

Thrive Digital has worked with leading Australian bridal brands for more than a decade and understands what a bride needs to see before she books an appointment or buys. Whether you design gowns, run a boutique or host weddings, we build a site that is beautiful, fast and built to convert.

What makes a great bridal website?

A bride is researching on her phone, usually from Instagram or Pinterest, comparing a dozen designers in one evening. The site that shows the dresses beautifully and makes the next step obvious wins the appointment.

  • A lookbook or collection gallery with large, fast-loading images, filterable by silhouette, neckline, fabric and price range.
  • A page per gown with full imagery, details, price guide and a clear next step: book an appointment, find a stockist or buy.
  • Appointment booking for boutiques, with trunk show and event dates, connected to the diary you already run.
  • A stockist finder for designers selling through boutiques, with each stockist’s location and contact details.
  • Online sales for accessories, veils, ready-to-wear and sample sales, with international shipping where you sell overseas.
  • Real brides, real weddings and press, because social proof is most of the decision.
  • Instagram and Pinterest built in, and a design that holds up next to them.

What a bridal website needs

Images that do the dresses justice

Bridal is sold on imagery. The site serves large, colour-true images that still load instantly on a phone, with a gallery built for browsing a collection the way a bride actually browses: fast, visual, filterable.

A page per gown

Brides search for a dress by name once they have seen it on Instagram. Each gown gets its own page with full imagery, details, a price guide and the next step, so the site ranks for the dress and converts the search.

The next step, always visible

Book an appointment, find a stockist, buy online. Whichever applies to you is on every screen, and the appointment form captures wedding date, size range and budget so your team can prepare.

Boutique and designer, handled differently

A boutique sells appointments; a designer sells through stockists and sometimes online. The structure, the calls to action and the content are different, and we build for the one you are.

eCommerce where it earns its keep

Accessories, veils, ready-to-wear, sample sales and international orders run on WooCommerce or Shopify, with shipping, duties and returns set up properly for a product that cannot be rushed.

Proof from real brides

Real weddings, press features and reviews, organised so a bride considering a particular gown sees it on a real person at a real wedding.

Gown designers, bridal boutiques and wedding venues

A gown designer needs a site that presents each collection like a campaign, with a page per dress, a stockist finder and, increasingly, direct online sales to brides overseas. A boutique needs the designers it carries, the gowns in store, trunk show dates and an appointment booking path that captures what the consultant needs to know.

A wedding venue or planner needs something different again: packages, capacity, galleries of real weddings and an enquiry form that asks about the date before anything else. We have built all of these, and the first thing we do on any bridal project is work out where your brides come from and what they need to see before they contact you.

Bridal websites across the Gold Coast, Melbourne and Australia

Thrive is based in Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast and has designed websites for bridal brands locally and nationally for more than a decade. Work includes Grace Loves Lace, one of Australia’s most recognised bridal brands and a client since its early days; Karen Willis Holmes, a leading Australian designer with an eCommerce platform; Mariana Hardwick, a Melbourne couture house; Raffaele Ciuca Bridal, Melbourne’s iconic bridal house since 1956; Madi Lane; and Pearl Bridal in Mermaid Waters.

Projects run by video call and a shared project board, so a designer in Melbourne gets the same process as a boutique in Burleigh. We also design eCommerce stores, beauty websites and sites for events and entertainment businesses.

Marketing for bridal brands

A website only works if brides find it. The same team that builds bridal websites runs SEO so your gowns and collections rank by name, Facebook and Instagram ads where brides are actually looking, Google Ads for appointment and stockist searches, and the digital marketing strategy that ties it together.

Got questions?

Bridal Website Design FAQs

How much does a bridal website cost?

It depends on the size of the collection, whether you are selling online, whether you need a stockist finder or appointment booking, and how much of the content and image preparation we do. Every project starts with a written scope and a fixed quote, so you know the price before we begin.

How long does it take?

Most bridal websites take six to ten weeks from the first meeting to launch. Campaign imagery is the usual dependency, so we plan the build around your shoot and release schedule and build in stages you can review as we go.

Do we need eCommerce on a bridal website?

If you sell gowns, accessories, veils or ready-to-wear direct to brides, yes. We build on WooCommerce or Shopify, with international shipping, duties and returns set up for a product that is often bought from overseas. If you sell only through boutiques, a stockist finder and an enquiry path do the job without a cart.

Can the website take appointment bookings?

Yes. For boutiques we build an appointment form that captures wedding date, size range, budget and the designers a bride is interested in, connected to your diary or booking software so the consultant can prepare. Trunk show and event dates sit alongside it.

How do you handle a large collection of images?

We build the site to serve each image at the right size for the screen, so a gown looks sharp on a large monitor and loads instantly on a phone. Collections are filterable by silhouette, neckline, fabric and price, and adding a new collection is something your team can do.

Do you build websites for wedding venues and planners?

Yes. Venue and planner sites need packages, capacity, real wedding galleries and an enquiry form that asks about the date first. Frank & Joy, Byron Bay wedding planners and stylists, is an example of our events work.

Do you work with bridal brands outside the Gold Coast?

Yes. Our bridal clients are spread across the Gold Coast, Melbourne and Sydney, and several sell internationally. Projects run by video call and a shared project board, so distance makes no difference to the result.

Do bridal websites need SEO?

Yes. Brides search for a designer or a gown by name once they have seen it, and for “bridal boutique” plus a city before that. We structure the site with a page per gown and per collection so it can rank for those searches, and our SEO team can keep building on that after launch.

Will the website look like a template?

No. Every site is designed from scratch around your brand and your imagery. Bridal brands live or die on how they look, and the design is built to hold up next to your Instagram and your campaign.

Who looks after the website once it is live?

We do, if you want us to. Our hosting and support plans cover the server, security updates, daily backups and help with changes, and we train your team so adding a collection, updating stockists or changing prices is something you can do yourselves.
