Website Design

Thrive designs websites for software companies, SaaS products, IT services and technology brands across Australia. Our Gold Coast team builds tech websites that show rather than tell: product and feature pages built around the problem solved, pricing that converts, demo and trial sign-ups, integration and security pages that pass procurement, and a marketing site your team can ship changes to without touching the product.

Websites for software, SaaS and technology companies

Nobody buys technology from a company whose own website does not work. Thrive Digital designs tech websites that explain the product in plain language, show it in action and turn a visitor into a demo, a trial or a sales conversation.

What makes a great tech company website?

The visitor is evaluating, often with a shortlist open in other tabs. The site has to explain what the product does and who it is for in seconds, prove it, and make the next step obvious.

  • A clear statement of what the product does and for whom, in plain language, on the first screen.
  • Feature or solution pages built around the problems solved, with real screenshots and short video rather than abstract illustrations.
  • Pricing that is honest and easy to compare, or a clear path to a quote when pricing depends on scale.
  • Demo, trial and contact paths that feed your CRM and reply fast.
  • Integrations, security, compliance and support pages, because procurement and IT will look for them before buying.
  • Case studies and customer logos that a prospect can recognise themselves in.
  • A marketing site your team can change without a developer or a product release.

What a tech website needs

Say what it does

The first screen states what the product does, for whom, and the outcome, in words a non-technical buyer understands. Everything else on the site is evidence for that sentence.

Show, don’t tell

Real screenshots, short product video and interactive previews beat abstract illustrations every time. Feature pages are organised by the problem solved, not by the menu structure of the app.

Pricing that converts

Transparent tiers with a clear comparison where you can, and an honest “talk to sales” path where you cannot. Hidden pricing is the biggest single reason evaluators leave.

The pages procurement reads

Integrations, security and compliance, data residency, uptime, support and terms. Buyers from IT and procurement look for these before they will take a demo, and they are often missing.

A funnel that feeds the CRM

Demo requests, trials and contact forms land in HubSpot, Salesforce or whatever you run, with the fields sales needs, and the visitor gets a response they can trust.

Fast to change

Marketing moves faster than product. The site is a separate, lightweight WordPress build your marketing team can change daily, with the product living where it belongs.

SaaS products, IT services, hardware and tech brands

A SaaS product needs a marketing site with solution pages, pricing, demo and trial paths and the trust pages procurement reads, kept separate from the application itself. An IT services or managed services provider needs services, sectors, case studies and a path to a conversation. A hardware or tech product brand needs product pages, specifications, stockists and often online sales.

A booking, signage or industry platform needs to speak to several customer types at once. We have built all of these, and the first thing we do on any tech project is work out who the buyer is, what they already understand and what will convince them to take the next step. When the product itself needs building, our web development team handles custom applications and integrations.

Tech websites across the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Australia

Thrive is based in Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast and has designed websites for technology companies locally, in Brisbane and internationally. Work includes Bookeo, a booking platform used in 120 countries; Paint Projex, a project management platform for painting companies; Safesite, an app promotion site for a construction safety platform; CV Media & Signage, a national digital signage provider; and Volition, a technology product brand with an online store.

Projects run by video call and a shared project board, so a startup in Sydney gets the same process as one in Burleigh. We also design ecommerce stores and websites for professional service firms.

Marketing for tech companies

A website only works if buyers find it. The same team that builds tech websites runs SEO for the problem-and-category searches buyers make, Google Ads for demo and trial sign-ups, email marketing for trial nurture and onboarding, and the digital marketing strategy that ties it together.

Got questions?

Tech Website Design FAQs

How much does a tech company website cost?

It depends on the number of solution and feature pages, the integrations with your CRM and product, whether you need a store or documentation, and how much of the content we write. Every project starts with a written scope and a fixed quote, so you know the price before we begin. A single-product startup and a multi-product company are very different projects.

How long does it take?

Most tech marketing websites take six to ten weeks from the first meeting to launch. Positioning and messaging are the usual reason projects run long, so we start with the first-screen statement and build outward in stages you can review as we go.

Should the marketing site be separate from the app?

Almost always, yes. A lightweight WordPress marketing site your marketing team can change daily, with the application living on its own stack, means a pricing change does not need a product release and a product deploy does not take down the homepage. We link the two cleanly at login and sign-up.

Can demo and trial forms feed our CRM?

Yes. Demo requests, trials, contact and pricing enquiries can land in HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or whatever you run, with lead source and the fields sales needs. We also set up the tracking so you can see which pages and campaigns produce the sign-ups.

What should a security or trust page include?

Where your data is hosted and in which region, encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, backups, any certifications such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001, your uptime history and your incident process. Procurement and IT look for this before they will take a demo, and a clear page shortens the sales cycle.

Do you build the software as well as the website?

We can. Our web development team builds custom web applications, integrations and portals, and several of our tech clients started with a marketing site and came back for product work. For most tech companies the marketing site is where we start.

Do you work with tech companies outside the Gold Coast?

Yes. We build tech websites for companies across Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and overseas. Projects run by video call and a shared project board, so distance makes no difference to the result.

Do tech websites need SEO?

Yes. Buyers search for the problem and the category, such as “job management software for painters” or “online booking system”, long before they search for a brand. We structure the site with a page per solution and use case so it can rank for those searches, and our SEO team can keep building on that after launch.

Will the website look like every other SaaS site?

No. Every site is designed from scratch around your product, your buyers and your brand, using real screenshots and your own imagery rather than the stock illustrations that make so many tech sites identical.

Who looks after the website once it is live?

We do, if you want us to. Our hosting and support plans cover the server, security updates, daily backups and help with changes, and we train your marketing team so changing pricing, adding a case study or launching a landing page is something you can do yourselves.
