Energy & Solar
Website Design

Thrive designs websites for solar installers, battery and energy companies and electrical contractors across Queensland and Australia. Our Gold Coast team builds solar websites that turn a homeowner comparing quotes into an enquiry: clear system and battery pages, rebate and payback information explained plainly, your Clean Energy Council accreditation up front, and a quote request that captures what your estimator needs.

Need a new solar or energy website?

Solar customers compare three or four installers before they request a quote, and they are nervous about being sold to. Thrive Digital designs energy and solar websites that explain the options honestly, show your accreditation and your installs, and make getting a quote simple.

What makes a great energy and solar website?

A homeowner or business owner researching solar wants to know what it costs, what it saves, whether you are legitimate and what happens next. The best solar websites answer in that order.

  • A page for each offer: residential solar, batteries, commercial solar, EV charging, off-grid, maintenance, named the way customers search.
  • Rebates, incentives and payback explained in plain language, with the government small-scale certificate scheme and state battery rebates kept current.
  • Your Clean Energy Council accreditation, retailer status, electrical licence and warranties shown plainly, because customers check.
  • A quote request that captures roof type, bill size, location and whether a battery is wanted, so your estimator can price it.
  • Real installs with photos, system size and location, and Google reviews pulled onto the site.
  • Honest product pages for the panels, inverters and batteries you install, with warranty terms.
  • A site that loads fast on a phone, because most solar research happens on one.

What a solar company website needs

Honesty sells solar

The industry has a reputation problem and customers know it. Clear pricing guides, real payback figures, warranty terms in plain language and no pressure tactics do more for conversion than a countdown timer ever will.

A page per offer

Residential solar, batteries, commercial solar, EV chargers, off-grid, service and repairs. One page for each, named the way customers search, so the site can rank for every offer and a visitor lands on the right page first time.

Rebates, kept current

Small-scale technology certificates, state battery rebates, feed-in tariffs and interest-free loan schemes change often. We build these pages so your team can update them the day a scheme changes.

Accredited and licensed, up front

Clean Energy Council accredited installer and approved retailer status, your electrical contractor licence number, product warranties and your workmanship warranty, where customers and regulators can see them.

A quote that is ready to price

The quote form asks for address, roof type, average bill, battery interest and a photo of the switchboard or roof, then lands with your estimator or in your CRM so it can be priced from the desk.

Proof from real roofs

Installs with photos, system size, suburb and the customer’s review. Organised so a customer in Robina sees installs in Robina. Stock photos of panels on a Californian roof are the fastest way to look like a lead-generation site.

Installers, energy retailers and electrical contractors

A local installer needs a fast, trustworthy site: offers, rebates, accreditation, installs, reviews, quote. A larger energy company with residential and commercial divisions needs a structure that sends homeowners and business owners to different paths, with case studies and tender-ready capability for the commercial side.

An electrical contractor adding solar and batteries needs the new services to sit naturally alongside the existing ones. We have built all of these, and the first thing we do on any energy project is work out which customers you want more of and what they need to see before they request a quote.

Solar and energy websites across the Gold Coast and Queensland

Thrive is based in Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast and has designed websites for energy businesses across South East Queensland, including Brisbane, and interstate. Work includes Fresh Energy Solar, a Gold Coast solar and electrical specialist, and NDF Group, an electrical and renewable energy contractor with more than 25 years in the industry.

Projects run by video call and a shared project board, so an installer in Brisbane or Sydney gets the same process as one in Burleigh. We also have dedicated pages for trades, building and construction and civil and industrial businesses.

Marketing for solar and energy companies

A website only works if customers find it. The same team that builds solar websites runs SEO for the solar-and-suburb searches homeowners make, Google Ads for the systems you want to sell more of, Facebook and Instagram ads for battery and rebate campaigns, and the digital marketing strategy that ties it together.

Energy & Solar Website Design FAQs

How much does a solar website cost?

It depends on the number of offers and locations, whether you need calculators or CRM integrations, and how much of the content we write. Every project starts with a written scope and a fixed quote, so you know the price before we begin. A local installer and a multi-state energy company are very different projects.

How long does a solar website take?

Most solar and energy websites take four to eight weeks from the first meeting to launch. Install photography and product content are the usual hold-ups, so we help you gather them early and build in stages you can review as we go.

Can the website include a solar calculator?

Yes. We can build a savings or system-size estimator based on bill size, roof orientation and location, and we are careful to present it as a guide rather than a quote so it does not create expectations your estimator has to walk back.

How should rebates and incentives be shown?

Plainly and accurately. We build a rebates page that explains the federal small-scale certificate scheme, any state battery or solar rebates, feed-in tariffs and interest-free loans in plain language, and we build it so your team can update it the day a scheme changes. Out-of-date rebate claims are a common source of complaints.

Can the quote form feed our CRM?

Yes. Quote requests can land in your inbox or go straight into your CRM or solar design software, with the details your estimator needs: address, roof type, bill size, battery interest and photos. For larger companies we route residential and commercial enquiries to different teams.

Do you build websites for electrical contractors?

Yes. Many of our energy clients are electrical contractors who added solar, batteries and EV charging to their services. We build the site so the new offers sit alongside the existing ones and each can rank on its own. Our trades page covers the wider electrical side.

Do you work with solar companies outside the Gold Coast?

Yes. We build energy websites for installers and contractors across Brisbane, regional Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. Projects run by video call and a shared project board, so distance makes no difference to the result.

Do solar websites need SEO?

Yes. Customers search for “solar installer” or “home battery” plus a suburb or city, and the companies that appear get the quote request. We structure the site with a page per offer and clear location coverage so it can rank for those searches, and our SEO team can keep building on that after launch.

Will the website look like a lead-generation site?

No. Every site is designed from scratch around your company, your installs and your customers, using photos of real jobs wherever possible. Real roofs in real suburbs with real reviews are what separates an installer from the comparison sites.

Who looks after the website once it is live?

We do, if you want us to. Our hosting and support plans cover the server, security updates, daily backups and help with changes, and we train your team so updating rebates, products and installs is something you can do yourselves.
